Our last days in Finland went really fast. We cleaned the apartment, i got my school papers and then it was time to pack all our stuff. Ugh i hate packing and i was sooo afraid that our stuff is not going to fit into my little car (khmkhm that is not even that little but ohhh well). Luckily we squeezed everything in there, my car’s trunk was hanging sooo low. Even funnier was the fact that whenever you tried to speed up it made this little ohhhh sound like it was in pain or smth. Anyway we made it home and even had time to go to our favorite pizza place in Raisio before our two hour trip to the Helsinki Harbor. We chose the last ferry soo it arrived home at 00.30, but anyone who has been on a ferry with the car knows that it takes another 30 min to actually get off that freaking boat. Soo there we were or more sooo i was sitting in a car at 00.30 and thinking that it is soooo unfair that i have to drive and the sleeping beauty can sleep on the next seat.
However the wait was not long and soon enough or more so after 1 am we were at home and in the bed safe and sound. The next day i had to wake up superrrrrrr early to give blood sample. We did not have a lot of time in Estonia. Soo all we did was little shopping in Kaubamaja and then drive off to Märjamaa. We spent two days there. Had our first grill this year - mmmm the sausages, how i missed them sooooo muchoooo. After spending some time in Estonia it was time to go again and this time we were travelling to FRANCEEEEEEE. Ohhh i like this country, i am not soo found of the people and the only reason is that i do not speak the language :(((( and they do not want to speak English here most of the times but anyway i doo like the possibilities here and oooohh myy i like to shop in Sephora.
Soo what have we done here????
Well we went to different places. On Saturday we went to museum kind of thingy. It was called Escal Atlantic and basically it is in the huge building and the interior of the building is made to look like big cruise ship that use to sail between France and USA. It was really cool and reminded me the exhibition of Titanic. Like the first thing you see when you enter is big corridor with cabin doors. Then you go to the deck and there is simulation that gives you a real feeling that you are on a boat. There are also sunbathing deck, cabins, piano hall, captain rooms, dining room, theatre etc. The History junkie in me was geeking up sooo badly. On sunday we went to yet another history event and this time it was Medieval Festival (or Fete Medival). It was held in Guerande - Fete Medival. We went to see the duel and horse show. Also around the fort were different tents and themes of live roll playing. For example you could see the farm life, the witches/healers, knights, sailors, craftsman, archery, iron works, medieval games, medieval music and performances, lot of people wearing costumes. It was really awesome and the forth was massive, having little streets and buildings insides, also a big square and a church. The Historian in me was overwhelmed. To top it off we had this ultra mega sweet bun, it felt like you were eating a caramel candy. MMM noms. On our way out we also visited candy shop and bought some fudge. Also my dad was lucky enough to get us lost on our way to the car -- something with the French street system and how there were noo shortcuts possibleee.....
