Well hold your horses because i know it now. Well since in the last post we were still in Paris i would just write a little post about how we went and picked our dinner from the ocean. Well it does remind me a little bit mushrooming if you guys have ever gone and done that. Well imagine a mushroom that is stuck to the ground and you get yourself an oyster. Yep you heard me right me who never ever thought i would eat some weird sea creature, went and started picking them like mushrooms from the ocean :D We did pick some other stuff as well - such as clams and mussels??
Well basically what they do in France is that they will wait for the low tide and then voila all the good stuff is out there to dry and you just pick them. or that was what i thought right, i mean how hard can it be?? Ugh well we made it home only with circa 15 oysters because these bad boys do not want to be picked. They hold on to the stones sooo hard that you basically have to use all your strength to get them loose. The locals had some sort of hook for that but well we were not that pros yet and our own nails and strength had to do. Anyway here are some pictures.

As you can see there is a lot of seaweed but you just kind of have to push it aside and pick your seafood. It is such a relaxing activity and even if you are not a fan of seafood you are going to have a lot of fun.
