I was just making a soup and i figured that blenders are such an awesome machines. I know it sounds like i am such a blonde but really like i made puree soup with cauliflower and omg how blender makes my life soooo effinnnn easy. Like literally if you own one all the smoothie and soup and what soo ever recipes are possible and sooooooo freaking easy. BUT dont buy the cheapest one, we have one with glass jug and it is really good, but before that we had one with plastic and i think it was all fancy philips brand. Well i guess you can figure it didnt last us for long, in its endphase it didnt even blend banana.
Since i just like to post here good recipes here is one with cauliflower
800g cauliflower
200g cream cheese
2 carrots
2 garlic cloves
2 broth cubes (bullion?)
some water and oil
1 onion (if you dont have it, its no biggie)
basically chop everything and then fry a bit (i smashed garlic cloves), then put them in a bowl and add water and broth cubes and let it boil until carrots and cauliflower is soft or smushy. Then add cream cheese and blend everything together. You can top it with some parmesan cheese and Voila !!! Be prepared that its a lot of soup and if you live alone you can probablu munch on it for a week or at least 2-3 days, depending how many meals you eat and how big portions you have.
